Morris W. Freeman HARTLY - Morris W. Freeman died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital, Dover. Morris was born October 27, 1936 in Dover. He was the son of the late Rev. Thomas E. and Della Lewis Freeman. He accepted Christ at a young age at the First Pilgrim Baptist Church in Camden. Mr. Freeman attended Booker T. Washington Elementary School and the William Henry High School. After returning from the Armed Forces, Morris was employed at the Firestone Store with his father and brother. Later he was employed by the City of Dover for a number of years, where he subsequently retired. He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; and two sisters. He leaves to mourn his loss, a lovely wife, Lillian Ridgway Freeman; a son, Justin M. Freeman of Dover; two daughters, Rhonda Stinnett (Tieko) of Fort Hood, Texas and Jessica Freeman of Camden; five brothers, Rev. Monroe Freeman, Andrew Freeman, Rev. Anthony Freeman of Dover, Freeman T. Freeman of Wayne, N.Y, and Charles T. Freeman of Petersburg, Va.; two sisters, Della Scott of Washington, D.C. and Bishop Doreina C. Miles of Dover;, four sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, James Miles his lifelong friend; and three grandchildren, Sierra Stinnett, Tieko Stinnett, Jr. and Sydney Stinnett. His Home Going Service will be Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing from 9:00 a.m. to11:00 a.m. at First Pilgrim Baptist Church, Camden, Delaware. Burial will follow in Gibbs Cemetery, Dover. Letters of condolences can be sent www.pippinfuneralhome.com
