DOVER - Mona Ann Sipple went Home to be with her Lord & Savior on November 19, 2022.
Mona Ann was born and raised in the Leipsic area of the late Harvey E. Denney and Leona (Rash) Denney. She married the love of her life, the late James F. Sipple in 1960.
Over the years, she held many occupations including positions at McCrory's as a window decorator, the Recorder of Deeds, the Capitol School District cafeteria, she worked for her brother at The Browsing Box and J. E. Denney Sales, she owned her own floral shop, and retired as a Florist with Cook & Smith in 2003. Mona Ann was a natural born caregiver. She cared lovingly and whole heartedly for her grandparents, parents, aunt, brother, and mother-in-law. She loved her animals greatly, and leaves behind Lillie her cat. She volunteered with the Leipsic Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary for over 50 years, where she held the position of treasurer for 15 years and served on multiple committees.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Ann; her husband, James; and her brother, Jayes.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo Anne (Sam) Boots; granddaughter, Samantha (Justin) Grimminger; and grandson, Quint Boots; and great-grandson, Harvey Grimminger. In addition to these close family members, Mona Ann also leaves behind many other loving family members and dear friends.
Services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2022 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
Donations can be made in her honor to Roby United Methodist Church, 265 Main St., Leipsic, DE 19901 or Leipsic Volunteer Fire Company, 318 Main St., Leipsic, DE 19901.
