DOVER - Minnie Pearl Wingo left this life to be with the Lord on May 15, 2018 where she resided at Owens Manor, Dover.
Mrs. Wingo served as a foster parent for many years, fostering over 50 children. She enjoyed playing music, she was often the life of the party, and she loved being around people.
Mrs. Wingo was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey E. Wingo; her parents, Sam Coleman and Dollie Bush; her twin brother Bennie and her sister Elda Bush. She is survived by her four children, Corey Wingo (Christina), Terry Bolden (Gloria), Thomas Wilcox and Lisa Wingo; one brother, Jimmy Bush; her special friend and daughter Sharon Farlow (Marvin); two special nephews, Marvin Farlow, Jr. and Cameron Thomas; and three special friends, Susie Perry, Darlene Drummond and Patricia O'Terry.
