Mildred Kathleen (Holland) Dennis passed away at home on November 28, 2021. Mrs Dennis was born on May 1, 1931 to the late Lida "Bessie" and Lester Holland in Whaleyville, Md.
Mildred married Roy J. Dennis in 1951. They moved to Wyoming, Del. in 1957.
Mrs Dennis retired from Delaware Technical and Community College. Mildred enjoyed traveling, crochet and cross stitch and was a talented seamstress. She loved jazz and enjoyed a number of performances by renowned musicians.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband. Her brothers and their wives; Edward and Nadine Holland, and William and Ruth Holland also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Lanxon and her husband Albert; granddaughter, Kathleen Kunze and fiancé Chris Thornton; grandson, Kevin Kunze; former granddaughter-in-law, Heather Kunze; great granddaughter, Carmen Buzzini; great grandsons, Logan and Luke Kunze and Kameron Kunze-Fowler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mildred was grateful for her caregiver and special friend Sue Reuben. We also thank her caregiver Michael Nerad.
Graveside services will take place at Camden Odd Fellows Cemetery on December 11, 2021 at 11 a.m.
