Mildred D. Lawrance Turner, 98

MILLSBORO - Mildred D. Lawrance Turner, age 98, of Millsboro, formerly of Drexel Hill, Pa., passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at the Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. She was a retired operator for the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne G. Lawrance in 1975; and second husband, Robert D. Turner in 1991. She is survived by her son, Ronald G. Lawrance and his wife Connie H. Lawrance; a sister, Dorothy Brady and her husband Donald; two granddaughters, Kristy-An Ferracci and Adrienne Nickerson; grandson, John Greene; great-grandson, R.J. Crum; great-granddaughter, Ashley Nickerson; several nieces and nephews. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Mildred's memory to, American Heart Association, Sussex County Delaware Memorial Fulfillment Center, 777 Penn Center Blvd, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235; or Foundation Fighting Blindness, P.O. Box 17279, Baltimore, MD 21203-7229. Arrangements by Melson Funeral Services of Long Neck.
