Miladros O. Cofer, 76

LITTLE HEAVEN - Miladros O. Cofer of Little Heaven died March 30, 2007, in her residence. She was 76.

She was born in the Philippines, the daughter of the late Protacio and Felisa Amante Orap.

Ms. Cofer had received a Bachelor of Science and Education degree and had taught in elementary education in the Philippines until moving to the United States in 1975.

Until her illness, Ms. Cofer served as an adult caregiver.

A friendly outgoing person she enjoyed casino games and was especially fond of bingo. In her quiet moments she was an avid reader.

She is survived by one brother, Lydio Orap of the Philippines; seven sisters, Salome Flores, Leonor Rebancos, Natividad Pacheco, Alfonsa Redino, all of the Philippines, Dr. Leticia Flores of Union, N.J., and Teresita Sideco of Spotswood, N.J.; her companion, John Ambruster of Little Heaven; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. in the funeral home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, where services will be held at 3 p.m.

Burial will be in Pristine Cemetery, Ligao City, Philippines.
