Melissa Lynn Turney

FELTON - Melissa Lynn Turney passed away on July 26, 2018 at home.
Melissa was a CNA for the Visiting Nurses Association at Christiana Care in Dover for about ten years as well as a CNA for Courtland Manor for about two years at the same time. She also was a CNA at the DE Hospital for the Chronically Ill in Smyrna for about three years. Melissa enjoyed gardening and going to the beach. She was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. She collected Precious Moments figurines and enjoyed listening to Garth Brooks.
Melissa is survived by her husband of 14 years, Ross E. Turney; four children, Christopher E. Hulse and his wife Amy of Frederica, Fred M. Hinspeter of Milford, Heather Arline Greger of Milford and Trever R. D. Shively stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif.; her step-daughter, Emily Elizabeth Turney of Magnolia; her parents, Sharon A. (Evans) Hulse and Daniel L. Hulse, Jr. of Wyoming; four siblings, Heather A. Probst and her husband Ron of Magnolia, David L. Hulse and his wife Heather of Wyoming, Danielle A. Shurina and her husband Dan of Wyoming and Christine N. Hulse of Wyoming; her father-in-law Gene Ross Turney of Marydel; four grandchildren and ten nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
A funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2018 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 in the chapel of Fairview Memorial Park, 111 State Route 435, Elmhurst Township, PA 18444.
