GREENWOOD - Maryann Day passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Bayhealth at Kent General Hospital in Dover. Maryann was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Everett and Mary (Clough) Stayton.
She was an administrative tech. at the Dept. of Public Health for the State of Delaware.
She was a member of the Lincoln United Methodist Church, the Rebekah's and the Women's Federation in Rising Sun, where she was an Easter Egg Sales Lady.
Maryann enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines and crocheting. She also loved to collect owls.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel A. Day; daughter, Steffanie Day; mother-in-law, Mary Day; brother, Clinton Stayton and wife Jane; sisters, Ruth Ann Webb and husband Bill and Deborah Holden.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call Friday night, July 6, 2018 from 6 to 9 p.m. or Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
