Mary Winifred Bauscher, 79

LINCOLN - Mary Winifred Bauscher of Lincoln passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, in her home. She was 79.

Mary was born in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Keating) Coyle.

She spent most of her life in Kaska, Pa., and moved to Delaware in 2000.

Mary worked for 20 years as a nurse with the Pennsylvania Employees Benefit Trust Fund in Harrisburg, retiring several years ago.

She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and watching game shows.

Mary had a lot of friends in both Pennsylvania and Delaware who will dearly miss her.

She was a loving and sweet person to all, and will be remembered for her big heart.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ralph Bauscher, in October 2006; two sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews; those who cared for her, Robert and Florence Wootten, Theresa Webb, Melody Wingo and Oliver Hicks Jr.; and her dear friends, Lee and Kent Griffen, William Jester, Charlie Dill, Richard Jester, Donna Jester and Mr. and Mrs. Moore; and her husband"s niece, Anna Zimmerman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 100 W. Tenth St., Wilmington, DE 19801.

Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
