UNIONTOWN, Pa. - Mary K. Rush of Uniontown, formerly of Dover, Del., died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, in Hillside Manor Personal Care Home, Uniontown. She was 80.
Mrs. Rush was born Oct. 4, 1926, in Uniontown, daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Sherlock) Kohrman.
She worked as a legal secretary for prominent attorneys in Uniontown for many years. She moved to Dover, where she was the assistant supervisor for the Delaware State Fire School.
Mrs. Rush moved back to Uniontown after her husband's death.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Rush; and a son, Mark C. Rush.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Guy and Jennifer Rush, Suzanne Rush and Warren Silbaugh of Farmington and Roberta and Richard Curry of Finleyville; a daughter-in-law, Jill Rush; seven grandchildren, Spenser Rush, Julian Rush and Riley Rush, all of Cape May, N.J., Samantha Curry and Benjamin Curry, both of Finleyville, Jetta Rush and Jadyn Rush, both of Dover; a brother and a sister-in-law, Richard and Pat Kohrman of Point Marion; and a sister, Virginia Stewart of Vanderbilt, Pa.
Services will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Albert Gallatin Hospice, 29 Highland Park Dr., Uniontown, PA 15401; or the American Cancer Society, 140 N. Beeson Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401.
