HUDSON, Wis. - Mary J. Pennewell, of Hudson, formerly of Delaware, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in the Christian Community Home in Hudson. She was 96.
Although Mary was proud of her background in nursing, she cherished taking care of her family. Her family was first and foremost.
Mary is survived by her daughter Diane and her husband, Dick Hanson, of Woodbury, Minn.; a son Bill and his wife, Bonnie Pennewell, of Dover, Del.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held at The O"Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson.
Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at Prince George"s Cemetery in Dagsboro, Del.
Suggested memorial is Grandma Mary"s nursing home: Christian Community Home, 1320 Wisconsin St., Hudson, WI 54016.
