Mary Grace Reed

DOVER - Mary Grace Reed, of Dover, passed away Sat., Jan. 1, 2011, at Kent General Hospital. She was 71. Mrs. Reed was born June 9, 1939, in Smyrna, to the late Henry Marker and Tressa Ruth Hudson Marker. She retired from General Foods as a line worker after 24 years. Mrs. Reed loved spending time with her family especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were the light of her life. She spent her whole life in the Sandtown, Wyoming area and was a member of the Willow Grove Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Homer Reed in 1989. Mrs. Reed is survived by her three sons, Herman H. Reed, Jr and his wife Sharon of Little Creek, Mark Reed and his wife Kim of Camden, Jeff Reed of Woodside; two daughters, Marie Hutson and her husband James of Wyoming, Donna Dill of Camden; two sisters, Linda Fuller and Betty Culp, both of Dover; grandchildren, Jimmy, Lisa, Christopher, Miranda, Matt, Mark, Travis, Mollie, Danielle, Ashley, Jennifer, Angela and Sabrina; great-grandchildren, Paige, Taylor, Danielle, Logan, Aiden and Matty. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 6, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Letters of condolences may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com.
