Mary Frances Shults

HENDERSON, Md. - Mary Frances Shults, lifetime resident of Henderson, Md., passed away on Friday, Apr. 7, 2017, at Envoy Nursing Home in Denton, Md. She was born on May 2, 1922, to the late William G. and Janie Ware Jackson.
Mary Frances was a homemaker as well as a licensed realtor for Strout Realty, selling property along with her husband. She played the piano for Sunday church services, sometimes as many as three services on one Sunday. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Marydel, Md. Mary Frances first love was her family, but in addition she enjoyed traveling and going to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Shults; and son, John K. Shults.
She is survived by her two granddaughters, Shannon Hayman (Norris) of Greensboro, Md., and Shawn VanVessen (Rob), of Felton; daughter-in-law, Anne S. Shults, of Henderson, Md.; great-grandchildren, Kelly Bailey (Mike), Lucas Hayman, Erica and Delaney VanVessen; and a great-great-granddaughter, Harper Bailey.
A service for Mary Frances will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Apr. 13, 2017, in the Trinity United Methodist Church, Goldsboro, Md., with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the Sudlersville Cemetery. Suggested donations are to either Marydel Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 121, Marydel, DE 19964, or Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 153, Goldsboro, MD 21636.
