DOVER - Mary E. Carter, 91, Dover, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 at KGH Bay Health Dover. She was born on January 06, 1923 in Marydel, Del. to the late Fred and Eva Booth Teat. Mrs. Carter was a homemaker and loved all her grandchildren. She was a big Phillies fan and enjoyed country music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Carter; and brother, Clarence Teat. She is survived by son and his wife, Clifford W. and Barbara Carter of Dover; daughter, Marilyn Carter-Ludden of Dover; sisters, Bernice Haufe, Irene Steele, Frances Kemp, Hazel Price, Thelema Blasius; grandchildren, Kelly Tiedemann (Keith), Lisa Hepfer (Phil), Shelly Lambert (Craig), Tracey Gosnell (Mike), Chad Carter (Heather); great grandchildren, Nicole Hepfer, Kyle Tiedemann and fiance Clara, Korey Tiedemann and fiance Mary, Kayla Hepfer, Jonathan Gosnell, Cade Lambert, Cale Lambert, Katie Gosnell, Emily Carter, Andrew Carter; and great great grandchild, Hannah Eyer; special friends, Lill and Marlene. Remembrance Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, Feb., 3, 2014 at Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Friends may view one hour prior. Private burial.
