Mary Denise Pizzuto Rementer

SEAFORD - Mary Denise Pizzuto Rementer passed away on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.
Born in New Jersey on Sept. 1, 1942 to Anthony and Mary Pizzuto (predeceased) of Georgetown. Mary was the first of five daughters and grew up in Georgetown. She graduated in 1961 from Georgetown High School.
Mary was preceded in death by her son, Michael J. Rementer, who was gone but never forgotten. Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Stephen R. Rementer; two sons, Anthony "Tony" Rementer (Denise) and Christopher Rementer (Julie); five grandsons, Burton (Heather), Michael, Cody, Gavin and Parker; four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Brooke, Charlotte and Korbin; four sisters, Antoinette Hamlin (Julian), Catherine Pizzuto, Delores Hembdt, Nancy Buenrostros and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Seaford. In her heathier days she did volunteer work at the schools where her grandsons attended and well as volunteered in her church.
Mary was a loving devoted wife, mother, mommom, sister and friend. She was an excellent cook, a loyal friend to many. She loved life and had a smile for everyone she met.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Our lady of Lourdes Church, 515 E. Stein Hwy., Seaford, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Asbury Church Cemetery.
