Mrs. Clark was born June 17, 1917, in Brownsville, Pa., daughter of the late Leo F. Hughes and Vera (Nicholsen) Hughes.
She retired in 1970, after 30 years of employment with St. Francis Hospital and Delaware Division, both of Wilmington, as a registered nurse.
She enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader and water skiing.
Mrs. Clark was an avid bridge player and enjoyed singing and playing the organ. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and participating in the things they loved to do. She loved to be with family and friends for gatherings and holidays.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, all of Brownsville; and two sisters, both of Brownsville.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ralph W. "Bill" Clark; two daughters and a son-in-law, M. Kathleen Gordon and Donald Overton of Media, Pa. and Patricia Glanding-Clark of Pike Creek; a sister, Margaret Camino of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Gordon and his wife, Elizabeth, of Lewes, and Kelly Glanding Mansfield and her husband, Brent, of Houston, Texas; and a great-grandson, Travis Bennett.
