Marjorie Smith Peterson, 71

WYOMING - Marjorie Smith Peterson of Wyoming, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 27, 2007, in her home with her loving husband by her side. She was 71.

Mrs. Peterson was born July 21, 1935, in Dover, daughter of the late Earl and Katherine (Stearn) Smith.

She was a graduate of Dover High School.

Mrs. Peterson was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, sewing, painting and refinishing furniture.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harlan E. Peterson; a son, Scott Peterson and his wife, Janis of Dover; two daughters, Cynthia Fletcher and her husband, Rick of Harrington and Margie E. Peterson of Wilmington; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Peterson of Rehoboth.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover, DE.
