Marie E. West DAGSBORO - Marie E. West, of Dagsboro, went peacefully home to meet her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009. Mrs. West was born in Dagsboro to the late Horace and Anna Hickman on Dec. 7, 1912. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard W. and her sister, Virginia Baker. Mrs. West is survived by her children, Una Lee Burton and her husband James A., and Eloise W. Messick and her husband Phillip E.; her five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Dagsboro, where friends may call at 12:30 p.m. Rev. Dr. Joseph Barth will officiate. Burial will be in Dagsboro Redmens Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent by visiting www.melsonfuneralservices.com.
