DOVER - Margaret M. Groce went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 21, 2014, surrounded by her family. Margaret was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Commander of Cardiff Wales, England. She was employed by Playtex of Dover for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by 12 of her siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles E. Groce; four daughters, Shela Groce-Gray (James), Jean Friend, Tina Nichols (Howard, Etha Davis (Titus); two Sons, Charles Groce II (Linda); Mark Groce (Darlene); 17 Grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one Brother, James Commander and one Sister, Lily Williams, both of Cardiff Wales, England. Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Rt. 8 and Victory Chapel Rd., preceded by a viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park. Services have been entrusted to Pippin Funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Delaware Hospice, c/o Memorial Gifts, 16 Polly Drummond Center, 2nd Floor, Newark, DE 19711.
