Margaret M. "Peggy" Drobotan, 84

DOVER - Margaret M. "Peggy" Drobotan of Dover died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, in Capitol Healthcare Services, Dover. She was 84.

Mrs. Drobotan was born May 10, 1923, on Prince Edward Island, Canada, daughter of the late Alphonse and Agnes Arsenault. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States Nov. 10, 1952.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed homemaking, sewing and shopping at the mall. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family until Alzheimer"s erased her memory.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Michael "Butch" Drobotan, June 30, 2007.

She is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Margaret A. "Peggy" and Edward Wireman of Felton; a son and a daughter-in-law, Michael E. and Wanda Drobotan of Hartly; three grandchildren, Edward S. Wireman Jr., Kimberly J. Zink and Diana R. Drobotan; and two great-grandchildren, Casey Wireman and Austin Wireman.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
