Margaret E. Messick, 57

LAUREL - Margaret E. Messick, of Laurel, passed away at her home on Jan. 28, 2009. She was 57. She was born on Oct. 21, 1951, a daughter of the late Spruce Hartman and Margaret Ruark of Seaford. Margaret was a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister. She was a proud member of Laurel Wesleyan Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband. Robert "Buddy" Messick of Laurel; her children, Billy Baker, Rob Baker and Kimberly Baker, all of North Carolina; her siblings, Charlie Dietterick, Johnny Dietterick, and Donald Dietterick; numerous grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of her life was 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Laurel Wesleyan Church. The Pastor Ken Deusa officiated.
