Margaret "Peggy" Deusa Nearhos passed away peacefully Saturday evening at Kent General Hospital following a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Deusa; her son, Derrick Boney; her sister, Joy Deusa; and her brother, Edward Deusa.
She is surived by her father, Al Deusa; her husband, Timothy Nearhos; her son, Robert (Kristina) Boney; her brothers, Alex Deusa and Ken (Darlene) Deusa; her sisters, Joyce (Mitch) Deusa Hill and Letitia (Reds) Aurillo; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews, who loved her very much.
Peggy's dynamic and vibrant personality was unforgettable. Though a long illness eroded her health, it could not take her passion for music, her love for animals, and her clever sense of humor. Peggy always had a smile for everyone, even in times of difficulty, and never failed to appreciate the gift of life. Though she is no longer with us, her example of fortitude lives on. Peggy will be dearly missed.
Services will be held at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 at 11 a.m. Friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. Interment Greensboro Cemetery, Greensboro, Md.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First State Animal Center. Share a memory at www.pippinfuneralhome.com
