Dover - Marc Kevin Blanchard, Sr. passed away at home in Dover, his home for the last 15 years, on Aug. 5, 2018.
Originally from California, Marc truly enjoyed being in the mountains, lakes, rivers and streams camping, rafting, swimming, hunting, and most of all fishing and riding motorcycles. Marc was a "jack of all trades," a true craftsman and a master woodworker.
If Marc was your friend, you had a friend for life. He loved his family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
Marc was preceded in death by: Marc K. Blanchard, Jr. (son), Thomas Blanchard Jr. (father), Joan C. Eder (mother), Gabrian Orlando Marra (g.nephew).
Marc is survived by: Debby and Calvin Bryant (sister, b. inlaw), David Blanchard, Sr. (brother), Carla and Cherie Blanchard (daughters), Lettie Blanchard (stepmother), Penny and Sharie (step sisters), Ken and Bonnie Cook (uncle, aunt), Keith Kimbro (best friend), Lori, Christina (Enzo), RaeLynn (nieces), David, Jeremy and Preston (Mikayla) (nephews), four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial celebration of life on Sept. 23, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Henderson Park in Snelling, California. It will be hosted by Marc's best friend, (brother at heart) Keith Kimbro and wife Kim.
