Mable Ruth Naundorf, 84
CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Mable Ruth Naundorf, of Chestertown, died Thursday, April 24, 2008, in Chestertown Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was 84.
Born on Feb. 24, 1924, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward Leon Fetterolf and Mable Alice Taylor.
Mrs. Naundorf was a bartender at Newt's Tavern.
She was a member of the Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 652, Millington, and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary C. Henry Price Post, Betterton.
Mrs. Naundorf loved to read and cook, and enjoyed baking and sharing with friends and family.
Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Naundorf; and sons, John and Ralph Naundorf.
Mrs. Naundorf is survived by two sons, Rodney Naundorf of Worton and Glenn Naundorf of Salisbury; a brother, Robert Fetterolf of Chestertown; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Chester Cemetery.
