Lowell Gene McFann

Wyoming - Lowell Gene McFann passed away peacefully in his home, Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Gene was born Aug. 25, 1946, in Ironton, Ohio, to the late, Woodrow and Helen (Caudill) McFann. He served proudly in the United States Air Force, before beginning his own electrical contracting business, Solar Electric, in 1976.
In his free time, Gene enjoyed gardening, and spending time with his family.
Gene is survived by his wife, Carol (Buterbaugh) McFann; his son, Mike McFann and wife, Oribel; a grandson, Michael McFann; and his sister-in-law, Kelly Buterbaugh, of Wilmington.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may gather from 3 to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First State Animal Center/Kent County S.P.C.A., 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
