OCEAN VIEW - Loukas P. Nafpaktitis of Ocean View, formerly of Olney, Md., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, in the Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, surrounded by his loving family. He was 67.
He was born July 22, 1940, in Greece, and moved to the states in 1967.
He was a building engineer for CSN Management, Kensington, Md., retiring after 25 years of service.
Loukas attended St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Ocean City, Md.
He loved building and working with his hands and fixing things.
Loukas also enjoyed working with computers, working in his yard and cutting grass.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Fane P. (Tzotze) Nafpaktitis; two children, Martha King and her husband Chris of Frederick, Md., and Peter Nafpaktitis and his wife Jill of Gaithersburg, Md.; a sister, Georgia Hliopoulous and her husband George of Greece; and two grandchildren, Alexa King and Loukas Nafpaktitis.
A funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in St. George Orthodox Church, Ocean City.
Friends and family may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View.
Interment will be in St. George's Cemetery, Clarksville.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. George Orthodox Church, 8805 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842.
