Lorraine E. Frye, 75

CAMDEN - Lorraine E. Frye, of Camden, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008, in her home. She was 75.

Lorraine was born on Sept. 23, 1932, in South Williamsport, Pa., to the late Leverne and Marian (Eisworth) Steinbacher.

She had worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Edwin Cohen in Williamsport for many years before retiring in 1993.

Lorraine was an antique dealer with stands in various locations. She also was an avid bowler and was a bingo maniac.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Steinbacher; and a sister, Pauline Stopper.

Lorraine is survived by four children, Linda K. Velez and her husband Pete of Camden, Russell B. Frye of South Williamsport, Stephen B. Frye and his wife Jennifer of Williamsport and Susan K. Maddalena of Los Angeles; three brothers, Michael Steinbacher, Karloyd Steinbacher, both of Williamsport, and Bernard Steinbacher of The Villages, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Williamsport.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Williamsport.

Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
