Lola M. Coppage, 59

Lola M. Coppage of Dover went to be with the Lord Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover, after a long illness. She was 59.

Mrs. Coppage was born in Crumpler, W. Va., daughter of Nancy (Bailey) Dalton of Crumpler and the late Charles Dalton.

She was employed by Playtex, Dover, as a packer/inspector for 20 years, retiring about five years ago.

Mrs. Coppage was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed being a homemaker and cooking for her family and friends.

She loved dogs, fishing, camping and entertaining friends. She will be remembered by all for her delicious fried chicken, jellies and banana pudding.

Mrs. Coppage was a strong Christian and was a 25-year member of Solid Rock Church.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy (Bailey) Dalton of Crumpler; her husband of 39 years, Lee Coppage Sr. of Dover; a son, Gary L. Coppage Jr. of Hartly; four grandchildren, Viannia Coppage, Gabriel Coppage, Kathleen Coppage and Samuel Coppage, all of Hartly; six brothers, Richard Dalton of Brewston Mills, W. Va., and Frankie Dalton, Preston Dalton, Ray Dalton and Luke Dalton, all of Crumpler, and Don Dalton of Michigan; and two sisters, Leona Dalton of Crumpler and Clara Bailey, of Virginia Beach, Va.

Services will be 4 p.m. Sunday in Solid Rock Church, 807 Hazlettville Road, Hartly.

Interment will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Sunday Breakfast Mission, P.O. Box 352, Wilmington, DE 19899-0352.
