Lillian A. Hamm

DOVER - Lillian A. Hamm passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at Westminster Village. Ms. Hamm was born on Aug. 1, 1919 in Dover to the late Benjamin Franklin Hamm and Natalie Raughley Hamm. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the state of Delaware in the Children and Family Services department. Ms. Hamm had volunteered at Kent General Hospital where she was on the Junior Board. She also volunteered at the Kent County SPCA, Palmer Home, Inc. and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Dover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Benjamin Franklin Hamm in 2004. She is survived by her brother, Henry Stevens Hamm, II of Gladwyne, Pa.; nephew, Henry S. Hamm, III of Cape May Courthouse, N.J.; and niece, Judith Hamm Cleaver of Jupiter, Fla. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Christ Episcopal Church, 501 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Westminster Village, 1175 McKee Road, Dover, DE 19904.
