REHOBOTH BEACH - Lawrence W. George of Rehoboth Beach died Friday, March 23, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 76.
Mr. George was the son of the late Joe and Dorothy Evano George.
He was a self-employed contractor throughout the Philadelphia area for most of his life before retiring in 2000.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas George in 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Burgl George; two sons, Larry George of New York City and Michael E. George of Rehoboth Beach; two brothers, Louis George of Philadelphia and Cory George of Ontario, Canada; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. today in the funeral home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
