Larry Everett Irish, 70 DOVER - Larry Everett Irish, of Felton, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 70. He was born in Lancaster, Wis., the son of the late Everett and Bessie (Buck) Irish. He was an armament electronics tech for Dover Air Force Base, retiring after 21 years. He was a veteran of the Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. For 13 years, he was a very active member of AA. He was "known by many and loved by all." He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Louise Irish; children, Patricia L. Hoffecker of Bakersfield, Calif., Catherine A. Robinson of Cheyenne, Wyo., Christina L. Jennie of Summerville, S.C., Michael L. Irish of Williamsburg, Va., Richard E. Irish and Janet A. Thompson, both of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton.
