Kris Aaron Buckley, 34
MILFORD - With heavy hearts and great sadness, we share the news of the death of our beloved Kris, who departed this life on Dec. 14, 2018.
Born in Milford on March 20, 1984, he was the 3rd child of Edward and Carol Buckley. His birth brightened and warmed a cold and dreary Winter day.
Kris was loved by many, and is survived by his mother, Carol; brother, Edward; sisters, Danielle and Denise. Also nephews and nieces, Edward, Devin, Zoe, Lenox, Lexus, JJ, Lily, who he loved all as if they were his own; a host of cousins, aunts and uncles; and his many beloved cats. He is predeceased by his father, Edward; and brother, Allen. He also leaves behind many, many wonderful friends he met along the path of life.
Kris will be remembered for his easy smile, his love of nature and the many kindnesses to people he was known for. He loved to work on cars, electronics, and just about anything else that may need to be fixed. He was fond of gardening and trying new recipes. His macaroni and cheese and special recipe for cooking asparagus were well known for their good taste.
He would want us to remember him with these words, "Those we love don't pass away, they walk along with us every day. Deep in your hearts the memory is kept, to love, remember, and never forget".
Please join us on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018 beginning at 11:00 a.m. for visitation and at 12:00 for a memorial service to be held in the Fleischauer Funeral Home in Greenwood, DE. Feel free at this time to share a photo or a memory of Kris, as we know this is what he would appreciate.
