Katherine E. Vickery

Katherine E. (Fleetwood) Vickery passed away peacefully with family by her side, Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 at Cadia Renaissance in Millsboro. She was born in Seaford, to the late Charles C. and Mary (Watson) Fleetwood. Katherine enjoyed reading and especially writing. She loved writing about experiences she had growing up in Fleetwood pond. In addition to parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. Vickery; and nine siblings. She is survived by her son, Rodney D. Vickery and his wife, Regina, of Elkton, Md.; her daughter, Robin L. White and her fiancé, Wade Swafford, of Milton; four grandchildren, Cpl. Kevin Vickery, of Savannah, Ga., Rebecca Vickery, of Baltimore, Md. and Trevor R. Reed and AJ White, both of Milton. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Cadia Renaissance for their outstanding care of Mom. Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery South, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
