Joyce Warner Wade, 81
DOVER - Joyce Warner Wade passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Kent General Hospital of natural causes.
She was born September 15, 1939, in Irthlingborough, England to the late Frederick Warner and Nora (Johnson) Warner.
Joyce married Jack Wade August 21, 1960 and had three children. She was a longtime member of the Boy Scouts of America, a Den Mother, Pack Leader and Committee Chairman for Pack 632 in Dover and mother of three Eagle Scouts. Mrs. Wade loved animals and was a longtime Jack Russell owner. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, camping and the outdoors.
In addition to her parents; Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Jack Wade.
She is survived by her sons, Austin Wade and wife Donna of Middletown, Del., Kevin Wade and wife Traci of Claymont, Del., Adrian Wade and wife Gabrielle of Ocean View, Del.; grandchildren, Parker, Kevin, Brianna and Tyler Wade; and her loving dog, Maggie.
Services will be private. Mrs. Wade will be interred with her loving husband Jack at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, Del.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to: The Salvation Army at give.salvationarmyusa.org.
