John W. Stevens, III, 46 MILFORD - John W. Stevens, III, died Tuesday Aug. 11, 2009, at Kent General Hospital. He was 46. John was born March 15, 1963 in Wilmington, to Virginia Moore Stevens and John W. Stevens, Jr. He was a glass installer for Bobs Service Glass in Seaford. John loved to ride his motorcycle, being with the children. He was a handyman and a master of everything. He loved being with family and friends at get togethers. John was preceded in death by his father John W. Stevens, Jr. in Jan. 4, 2006. He is survived by his mother Virginia Stevens of Milford; two sons, John Stevens, IV of Camden, and John Wilson of Millville, N.J.; daughter Jennifer Stevens of Millville, N.J.; sister, Cheryl Waltman and her husband Dwyne of Dover; his companion, Joallyn Stevens Saterfield and her children, Milford; eleven grandchildren and a "special boy"; two nephews and one great nephew. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday August 17, 2009 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray the cost of funeral. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guest book signed at torbertfuneral.com
