John Stewart 'Jay' Beebe, 38

LEWES - John Stewart "Jay" Beebe of Lewes died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, of complications from a spinal cord injury. He was 38.

Jay attended Cascia Hall School in Tulsa, Okla., and graduated from Central High School.

He is survived by his parents, Diana and John Beebe of Lewes, formerly of Bethesda, Md., and Tulsa; his sister, Elizabeth Smith of Newton, Mass.; and two nieces, Julia Smith and Sarah Smith, both of Newton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Beebe Medical Foundation, 902 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958; or the Holton-Arms School, 7303 River Road, Bethesda, MD 20817.

Services and burial will be private.
