John Steve Meredith

EASTON, Md. - John Steve Meredith, of Easton, Md. formerly of Milford, died Dec. 9, 2018 in Easton.
Steve was born on Nov. 14, 1968, son of John M. Meredith, Jr and Diane Murphy Meredith. He was raised in Cambridge, Md. until his family moved to Still Pond in 1982. He was a 1987 graduate of Kent County High School. Steve had a natural talent for art, using this to design monuments, both engraving and etching. He started his career with Wm. V. Sipple & Son in Milford and later his own business, Blastworks also in Milford. Throughout the years he has worked alongside his father in his mobile sandblasting business. He had a love for the outdoors and spent his time in the woods or on the water.
Steve is survived by his parents, John M. Meredith, Jr. of Still Pond and Diane Murphy Meredith of Cambridge; his children, Erin Rae Meredith and Jase Addison Meredith both of Milford; his sister, Stephanie Loller (Zach); maternal grandmother, Ann E. Carpenter with whom he lived; and a niece, Olivia Loller.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, Md., where a memorial service will begin at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Kent County Waterman's Association or Clean Chesapeake Coalition, c/o Galena Funeral Home, PO Box 235, Galena, MD 21635.
