GREENSBORO, Md. - John Samuel Lewis Sr., of Greensboro, died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, in Caroline Home for Hospice, Denton. Born June 25, 1968, in Buffalo, N.Y., he was the son of Samuel T. Lewis of Annapolis and Patricia Gee Lewis of Ridgely. Mr. Lewis was a graduate of Glen Bernie High School. He owned and operated the John S. Lewis Sr. Real Estate Appraisal Company of Greensboro since 1997. He is survived by his two sons, Patrick K. Fish and John S. Lewis Jr., both of Greensboro; four brothers, Daniel Lewis, and Dennis Lewis both of Greensboro, Joseph Lewis of Pennsylvania, and Samuel Lewis of Crownsville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Michael Lewis. Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 25, at Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W Sunset Ave., Greensboro, where a visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be in Greensboro Cemetery.
