John A. Rose, 88

HARRINGTON - John A. Rose, of Harrington, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Milford Hospice Center. He was 88. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn L. Rose; and son, David C. Rose. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ruth A. and Tony Abbate of Milford; daughter-in-law, Ann Waddall and her husband Jay; grandchildren, Michael Abbate, Mark Abbate and his wife Meredith, Kristin Mosier and her husband Joe, Andrew Rose, and Jeremy Rose; great-grandchild, Malori Mosier; and sisters, Charlotte Biddle of Newark and Pearl White of Stuart, Fla. Services were Tuesday, June 16, in the Houston United Methodist Church. A visitation was held at Melvin Funeral Home. Interment was in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
