GREENWOOD - Joane Ruth LeMieux went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, Jun. 22, 2017, at Milford Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Feb. 10, 1935 in Wolfeboro, N.H.
Joane was a caring and loving mother, and grandmother. She loved being around children and bird watching.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Lucille Colbath Farr; son, Kenneth; a grandson, Nick; and two brothers, Sonny and Jimmy.
Joane is survived by her husband Ronald LeMieux, Sr.; four children, Skip LeMieux of Greenwood, Nancy Jo Schmidtz of Clifton Park, N.Y., Pauline LeMieux of Sevierville, Tenn. Claudia Miller of Greenwood; (11) grandchildren; (16) great-grandchildren; and one brother, Frankie Farr of North Carolina.
The funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jun. 28, 2017, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood, DE 19950. Viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Interment will be at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
