Jeffrey Lynn Sholly, 62
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Jeffrey Lynn Sholly passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Kent General Hospital.
Mr. Sholly was born April 22, 1959, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania to Glen Lester Sholly and the late Constance Lou (Boughter) Sholly. He grew up in Pinegrove, Pa. and joined the Air Force directly out of high school.
He served 18 years as an aircraft mechanic, retiring in 1995. After his military career and after working for Lockheed Martin and receiving his A&P Mechanics license he went to work for Dassault Falcon Jet for 15 years as an aircraft mechanic. After retiring from Dassult Facon Jet they moved to Maryland a few years ago. Mr. Sholly enjoyed NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. and then Jr., he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, and crabbing.
In addition to his mother; he was preceded in death by his brother, Cory Sholly.
He is survived by his father, Glen Sholly of Quentin, Pa.; wife of ten years, Christine (Shoop) Sholly of Princess Anne, Md.; children, Jamie Sholly and his wife Melissa of Smyrna, Jerry Sholly of Dover, Jennifer Paquette and her husband Roger of Smyrna; siblings, Rodney Sholly of King George, Virginia, Diana Sattizahn and her husband David of Pinegrove, Pa.; grandchildren, James, Joshua, Aiden, Bryce, Alyssa, Brie, Aimmee, Elysia, Chris, Danielle, Blake, and Madalyn.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 East Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover, Del. Friends may call one hour prior. Services will be live streamed on Torbert Funeral Chapel's Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/torbertfuneralchapels
