Jean Loretta Bramble, of Crumpton, Md., died Wed., March 30, 2011, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She was 79. Jean L. Bramble was born June 8, 1931, in Washington D.C., the daughter of the late Martha Starkey. Mrs. Bramble attended Sudlersville High School. She went to work for Latex company for awhile before marrying her late husband William Thomas Bramble. The two were married for 21 years. She stayed at home for a number of years to raise her family before returning back to work as a housekeeper for Hardwood Mills in 1977. She was a member of the VFW Post 652 in Millington, and the Camden, DE Moose Lodge. She enjoyed watching her soaps on TV, playing shuffleboard and spending time with her dog. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Walls of Bridgeville, Del; one step son, Thomas Bramble of Earlville, Md; one sister, Eleanor Potts of Crumpton, Md; two grandchildren, Melissa Ramsey of Middletown, Del., Adam J. Walls of Greenwood, Del.; and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sun., April 3, 2011, at the Crumpton Cemetery in Crumpton, Md.
