Janet Schauber Manown, 64

MIMS, Fla. - Janet Schauber Manown of Mims died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, in her home. She was 64.

She was born on September 30, 1942, in Chestertown, Md., daughter of the late Richard F. and Frances Woodall Schauber.

She had worked as an operating room technician for Kent and Queen Anne"s Hospital.

In 1975, she and her husband moved to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, where they owned and operated Sea Adventures, a charter boat and tourist service for 20 years.

In 1995, they moved to Mims, where she continued working as a physical therapist for Health South.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Hal Manown; a son, Robert Paganini of Chestertown, Md.; a granddaughter, Heather Paganini, also of Chestertown; two brothers, Richard "Eggy" Schauber of Centreville, Md., and James "Tater" Schauber of Worton, Md.; a sister, Dorothy Mench of Chestertown; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Instead of flowers, memorials may be offered to Hospice of St. Francis, 1250 B. Grammar Place, Titusville, FL 32780.
