Janet E. Duphily, 40
Janet E. Duphily of Magnolia died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, in her home. She was 40.
Mrs. Duphily was born May 12, 1966, in Dover, daughter of Lois (Godfrey) and the late Peter C. DaPrato.
She was a 1989 graduate of Marymount University, Arlington, Va., and was awarded an internship at Arlington Hospital.
Mrs. Duphily was an exercise physiologist, working for Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover and Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital.
She played tennis throughout her college years and was named most valuable player her sophomore year. She enjoyed needlepoint, cross-stitch and scrapbooking. She enjoyed being with her family and loved visiting Quimby Country in Averill, Vt.
Mrs. Duphily was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Peter DaPrato in January 2005.
She is survived by her mother, Lois DaPrato of Dover; her husband, Sean Duphily; and two children, Matthew Duphily and Sara Duphily, both of Magnolia.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday in Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St., Dover.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
