WYOMING - Jane Zimmerman passed away Monday, April 4, 2011, in Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, Md. She was 79. Jane was born in Middletown to Durant and Mary Elizabeth Clark as one of 13 children. She was a faithful employee of ACME Markets for 25 years. After her retirement from ACME, Jane and John then started their second career as the new owners of Jen-Mor Florist and after 40 years their family owned business still continues to carry on her legacy today. Jane loved to collect porcelain dolls, enjoyed crocheting gifts for friends and family, cooking for her huge family and the music of Englebert Humperdink and Mario Lanza. She was a long time fan of the Philadelphia Flyers. Jane was always a classy lady with a one of a kind, quick sense of humor. The most important thing in the world to her was her family, her life revolved around them. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother anyone could ever ask for. Jane will be greatly missed and always remembered. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John Hiram Zimmerman Jr. of Wyoming; her six children, John III of Milford, Steven of Selbyville, Michael of Wyoming, Wayne of Wyoming, Susan Krabill of Frederica, Gina Fries of Harrington and their spouses; her much adored grandchildren, John IV, Justin, Kasey Perza, Jeremy Krabill, Sarah, Michael Jr., Tyler Krabill, Raechel Norman, Kayla, Taylor, Aubrey Krabill, and Morgan; two great-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Kari Perza; and her dear friend, Lynn. A visitation will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 8 in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
