James W. Jopp Sr., 85

LADY LAKE, Fla. - James W. Jopp Sr. of Lady Lake, Fla., formerly of Canterbury, Del., died on May 13, 2007. He was 85.

He was a World War II veteran, Fellowship degree of Honor, Moose Lodge, and a member of the American Legion, Denton, Md.

He retired from Schluderburg-Jurdle and moved to Florida in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; three children, James W. Jr. of Magnolia, Del., Patricia L. Bailey of Milford, Del., and David C. of Harrington, Del.; three grandchildren, David T. Hoffner IV of Ocala, Michelle Peiffer of Milford and Summer L. Jopp of Dover, Del.; and two great-grandchildren, David T. Hoffner V of Ocala and Rebekah Peiffer of Milford.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
