FREDERICA - James R. "Tex" Taylor, 71, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011. Tex was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jackie Taylor; and daughter, Myra Brown. He is survived by his wife, Henrietta Taylor; his three daughters, Shanita Foster, Valerie Demby, and Vanessa Martin; and two sons James R. Taylor, Jr., and Lawrence Demby. A service will be held Friday, Aug. 12, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with a viewing from 4 to 6 p.m., with services to follow.
