James R. Henry Jr.

DENTON, Md. - James R. Henry, Jr. passed away at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018.
Born at home near Denton, Jimmy was the son of the late James Robert Henry, Sr. and Beulah Rosalie Shaffer Henry. He was a 1954 graduate of Caroline High School in Denton and had been a farmer all of his life. He was a member of the Caroline County Farm Bureau. His main interests were farming, hunting, and gathering with all his friends in the mornings in his shop where he will always be remembered.
Jimmy is survived by two sisters, Barbara A. Tribbett (Wayne) of Greensboro, Md. and Lois H. Davis of Chestertown; and five nephews, Barry Tribbett, Garry Tribbett, Matt Henry, Mike Henry, and Sheldon Henry; and his faithful beagle, Rover. He was preceded in death by his brother, D. Wayne "Mike" Henry, and his long-time companion, Audrey A. Garrett who died December 12th.
Funeral services for Jimmy will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018 at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. before the service. The interment will be in the Denton Cemetery.
