James 'Jimmy' L. Webb, 76

WYOMING - James "Jimmy" L. Webb, of Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008. He was 76. He was born on May 28, 1932, in Easton, Md., son of the late Andrew Keith and Dorothy Louise (Melvin) Webb. Jimmy was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, class of 1950. He was a farmer and owner of James L. Webb Paving Company. Jimmy was a director of the Delaware State Fair, a member of the 30th District Republicans, and a member of the Camden-Wyoming Lions Club. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Michael Webb on July 15, 1985. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Henrietta Webb, daughter and son-in-law Debra and Michael Walls of Dover, sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Deborah Webb of Georgetown, Richard and Joyce Webb of Harrington; five grandchildren, Jessica and her husband Jay Baxter, Julie Walls, Scott Walls, Hilary and Lauren Webb; a great-grandson, James Webb Baxter V; a brother, Donald Webb and his wife Paula of Mechanicsburg, Pa. Friends may call from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Friday at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Michael Webb Scholarship Fund, c/o Camden-Wyoming Lions Club, 206 Weeks Drive, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934.
