James Anthony Powell, Sr. fondly called "PowellBoy" by his mother passed away on 10/15/21 at Bayhealth Hospital in Dover, Delaware. He was a Kent County resident who lived a positive life full of love, compassion, and empathy towards those close to him and strangers.
His funeral will be held at Jesus Love Temple on 10/30/21, 106 S. Walnut St., Milford, DE 19963. The viewing will be at 11 a.m. and the homegoing service will begin at 12 p.m. Cards and condolences can be sent to Pastor Patricia Powell at 21173 Coverdale Rd, Bridgeville, DE 19933.
James is survived by his mother, siblings, children, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. We will miss his carefree spirit and beautiful smile but know he is resting in the arms of the Lord.
